LANDSCAPE
The house is implanted to look at the nearby landscape, a fog forest of a protected retreat from the source of the Quebrada Aguacatala.
The social volume and the main bedroom constantly enjoy the landscape they face, and its architecture frames it and introduces it into the daily life of the house.
DIMENSIONS
The volumes are separated to generate small patios and corridors that are used for nearby gardens that enrich the experience of touring the home.
A stone wall that rises in the landscape, outside the house, is a filter between the private and the public, crosses the house and separates the functions.
THEIR HABITANTS
The house is consistent with its inhabitants, an elderly couple, maintaining its scale on a single level, with roofs slightly inclined towards the views and sober, noble and tactile materials that perdure over time.
