Since the construction of the Canal del Dique, and later with the construction of the Guájaro reservoir, the memory of the initial settlement of the municipality was buried with water.

The Repelón monument rescues the memory of the original municipality and tells its story by immersing the pedestrian at the bottom of the water, as if they were another actor in the aquatic ecosystem of the swamp, with a tour guided by groups of boats, which, in a manner of a shoal, they move as a group, intermittently crossing the land that supports the intervention. The tour takes the surrounding stream as its vertical axis, to generate different temporalities in the landscape and in the monument, which allow the experience to be transformed according to the weather conditions at the time of the visit.

Dos robustas losas enmarcan el horizonte del paisaje montañoso. Organizan y contienen los espacios principales de la casa en la periferia de esta para volcar la mirada a las montañas, y se perforan con patios de diferentes proporciones para generar accesos, iluminación y ventilación para espacios secundarios.
